The bed was stiff and we would recommend not ordering an American Breakfast. The Thai breakfast choices are better. The small staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately Phu Jaya is far from town and we had no choice but to hire a driver (through the hotel) to take us around town for the day which was expensive. " |

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel completely welcome and at home. Very informative about what to do and where to go without being pushy at all. It s a little out of the way which we loved, airport transfer is arranged so the location is no problem. Gorgeous location, gorgeous rooms and gorgeous people. What more can you ask for? Only one staff member spoke much English, but everyone was attentive and helpful. The resort was smaller than we expected and you had to go to a nearby resort for swimming pool etc. However, the on site restaurant was excellent and the atmosphere of the outdoor setting was very nice.We had a rental car, so the distance to Chaing Mai wasn t a problem. Although the hotel offers transportation, I think there is a charge for it, and scheduling could be inconvenient. With the understanding that it is a little isolated and there is not much to do on site, I would highly recommend the Phu Jaya." |
